:shock: I cant believe how many of you are bashing headsets in wit ammer and block o wood! this is crazy you will oval out the headtube (mate did it on a brand new sworks carbon frame. it was basically toast and yes he was being very careful but if the cups aint parallel it only takes the slightest off centre cup!)
If not the first time (you might be lucky) but in a few years down the line when you do it again (luck dont come twice!)
Just buy a crown race slide, a headset press, headset cup remover and a crown race remover i got all mine from corely in a sale i think i paid £60 for the lot but ive installed about 100 headsets in the 6 or 7 years ive owned this stuff bit of a saving over the bikeshops £15 a time So please please please mr wood and hammer, put it the f*ck down!!!!
Also think of me if no one else i buy lots of different frames off here if i get one thats had it heaset instaled with the tools more akin to breaking concrete or banging in nails im gonna be soo mad!! :twisted:
