I get random nights of waking up frequently.. but it's not insomnia.
If it gets too bad I drop a handful of Amitriptylene and let them do the job for me.
But this time we have a friends pooch staying with us 'til Monday and I'm pretty stressed about it.. been messing with bikes in my flat since about half 4.. :?
Go to a decent health food shop and ask for some Valerian root, it worked a treat for me when I stopped smoking weed and the associated non-tranquilised attempts at sleeping!! I feel for you buddy, insomnia awful :?
I used to suffer from Insomnia, but it's mainly because the only time I got to think about stuff was at the most peaceful tiome of the day (or night) when I was in bed.
The only trick I came up with (as I wanted to avoid taking anything) was a full body relaxation programme, whereby you mentally unwind every part of the body.
I live with insomnia Part of the autism,and theres fook all i can do about it either.
