Funny really. Up until about 10 years ago, when one of our local bike shops started selling Wilier I'd never heard of the brand. I wasn't even aware they had ever made classic steel bikes with quill stems etc

Yes, they're less well known than some of the others outside Italy. i was sure they built a load of the famous bikes badged by others too but i may be wrong on that.
