Inner Tube Offer

Please don't shoot me down, but I went into Halfords today!

It was only with the intention of window shopping, but to my supprise they are doing a '3 for 2' inner tube offer at the moment.


Just though I'd let you all know so you can stock up

I wander in everytime i get duped into going to homebase or the like. Only vague glimmer of hope in an otherwise barron landscape of diy and low tech electrical outlet ind estates.

Always the same random collection of dvd's, Kona T's and the odd park tool though huh?

Yep!

Still, they did redeem themselves by stocking a decent selection of Lizard Skins, so I treated the RTS to a nice red one.

Oh, and some really nice full finger own brand gloves for £15, so I had some of those as well

Really must stop window shopping, it always ends up expensive!

my neighbor bought the halford slime ones on 3 for 2 in the suimmer - 3 out of 3 failed at the seams when he tried to pump them up.

They did replace them with genuine slime ones for no extra cost though. They reckoned it was a bad batch.

The first 3 times I took my Avalanche out in the summer, I punctured. Got pi**ed off with it, brought there own brand slime and now laugh every time I pull out a thorn! I'm about to put a set in the RTS ready for Wales.

As you say though, prob just a faulty batch. But, for £6.95 and no more flats, you cant go wrong
