Inner Cable offcuts

I'm amassing quite a collection of stainless steel cable, trimmed off after fitting brake/gear set ups etc. Some a metre or so in length.

Has anyone come up with a constructive use for them, apart from the obvious snare/garrotte route :shock: :?:

Seem too useful (potentially) to throw away :roll:
