Hey guys,
My first post - I have been recommended to post here from another forum!
If this is posted in the wrong place please just let me know! (feels likely..)
I am after some info on the Team Gatorade Time Trial Bianchi's.
I was under the impression they were all the X6's with the sloped top tube (I have added a photo), but I recently came across some photos (also attached) where they are riding what it seems to be late 1980 Bianchi Krono's with straight seat/top tubes.
The question i'm trying to answer is did Team Gatorade ride both types, or is this all an optical illusion I've invented looking at photos online? To make matters even worse the X6 has a sloped top tube but not seat tube, as shown in some of the photos of Team Gatorade.
So from my very amateur research there are 3 "types" which I can find photos claiming to be of Team Gatorade online:
1) Bianchi Krono - Straight Seat tube and Top Tube.
2) Bianchi X6 - Straight Seat Tube and Sloped Top Tube
3) Bianchi with sloped Seat Tube and Sloped Top Tube
This is all in anticipation for a period correct build so any help is very much appreciated!!
