Well, it arrived and the condition is not great (components). The paint on the frame is too bad so I am going to take it back to Ti and order some new decals from IF.
Gonna try and keep this one!

Nice, these ride exceptionally well mine was the best ride i have experienced but i cracked it at the seatclamp area either side through the weld Doh! Fantastic customer service from the IF guys i would buy another if i could make my mind up long enough.

Hi Carl,

Liking the new acquisition .... despite it having the wrong sized wheels

Registering interest in the build.

Having made some inquiries about having a ti frame painted i was warned by both Argos & Enigma that because the surface would need keying (media blasting) it would be difficult to reverse back to bare Ti.

Are your plans to leave the frame in the finish of the ti under the BB paint?

Mmm...dunno yet. Media is just sandblasting isn't it? IF shot peen their ti frames which I presume looks like the ti exposed in the BB shell. I'm also assuming the shot peen finish is suitable keying for painting.

Maybe I should pop a q over to IF...either way the paint is coming off ;-)
