I went through 3 sets of chops before i gave up on them. Have a new un opened set for sale if you like?

And also try and make sure they are genuine Sennheisers if you do go for them - Amazon and Ebay had a problem with people selling lots of fakes that were crap.....

I bought some fake ones by accident... They lasted about three years and had pretty good sound.

The real Sennheisers I replaced them with lasted three weeks, failed at the jack.
I also broke the jack on a pair of Skullcandy Low Riders.

In summary... I break headphones, unless they're knock off

Any recommendations? I've been using the creative ones but need something new.
Creative EP-630s.

Cheap and sound suprisingly good. Just get them from the Amazon main link, rather than market place or ebay - there's fakes around.

I doubt you'll get any better, unless you're going to spend a fair amount of money.

Soundmagic PL-30. You'd be daft not too. PL-50s are out now I'm tempted to get get those as the 30's are that good.

Sony EX85 for lots of bass, ebay cheapies are the same as originals.

I've got a pair of Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10vi and they are the dogs proverbials. Next thing down from studio or stage monitors. They are a bit larger than some casings because they have 3 speakers left and right although the cables have a memory wire on them to wrap around the top of your ear so they're not going anywhere. Buds come in 3 sizes and there's also foam ones that conform to the shape of your ear.

They can also be used as a hands-free phone headset with a mic built in to the cable and there's a remote switch for track start/stop/forward/back and answering/ending calls

Fiendishly expensive but I was a bit flush at the time and went for them. Next thing I know to proper over the head cans. I like them a lot.

I use these. Clip the receiver into my leathers when I'm riding, on the bikepath (if I feel like going down there to check out the rollergirls), and most importantly, to drown out the musak when I'm shopping. They're bluetooth, but they make the same buds with jacks. Sound is quite good (LGF's caveat applies).

Had some Shure SE310s and the sound was phenomenal but they failed a couple of months after their warranty was out. Not going near Shure again following that one.

Had some SoundMagic PL30s but they don't fit my ears that well. Need something new now as well but no idea what to go for. Really like the buds on the Shures and not found any other buds that are similar really.
