I did mine at MIRA in Nuneaton, got sent for a tin of striped paint........I was under the radar though, the lad in the week prior to me got caught feeling the tits on one of the crash test dummies!..... ......still funny 25 years on!!!.....

A lass came up to my desk today while I was making up a new service list and said she was sent over from the sailing club and told to ask for a long weight and a stand . I paused and told her what I tell all work experience kids ; Your being had on , and with no thought , originality or imagination too , I suggest you take 20 mins to just hang around and do whatever you like before going back . She thanked me and wandered off . The real joke is having a free skive

Came back not long after with a lad who had got sent to our climbing wall . At least whoever had sent him put a bit into it ; he had an envelope he had to hand over to whoever was in charge at our outdoor area , inside was a letter along the lines of " hello , I am --- and I will make you a cup of tea " .

They weren't best pleased

I suppose I could have come up with a good come back , like the time a lad had got sent over for a left handed screwdriver and I said it was a wind up but gave him a chainring bolt tool and said to tell whoever had sent him that the workshop insists this is what they wanted . But I was a bit dumbfounded to see a girl on work experience .
