it 'appears' there's a large rivet holding them on though - ugly

may sell the lot and replace with just plain Weinmann levers

nicely looked after bike but the same can't said for the room........

I have a not so nice patterned carpet in my dinning room. It's brilliant the pattern means you can't see the odd oil drip or grease smudge.

I say spend he money on what gives you pleasure. Oh and the room looks tidy / clean enough to me

Non suicide levers are relatively cheap, so I'd definitely make the swap. Other than that you're good to go! Your bike makes my old knockabout Peugeot look hopelessly tatty!

yes a garage/workshop/maintenance stand would be ideal

on a State Pension ..... kitchen table will do nicely and gets the job done regardless

progressing well

all the bearings lubed, rims trued, new tubes
waiting for chain [1st NOS was too wide], new blue cables, [1st green were yuk], and saddle ordered.

decided to keep the levers after all - since added black gel tape
thanks to biggs for the retro blocks.!
