At nearly 20 years old that's in good nick :)

Personally I'd remove the suicide brake levers though LOL.....Shaun

30 years in 14months.. 8)

agree about the dual levers............
it 'appears' there's a large rivet holding them on though - ugly

may sell the lot and replace with just plain Weinmann levers

nicely looked after bike but the same can't said for the room........

I have a not so nice patterned carpet in my dinning room. It's brilliant the pattern means you can't see the odd oil drip or grease smudge.

I say spend he money on what gives you pleasure. Oh and the room looks tidy / clean enough to me :D

Non suicide levers are relatively cheap, so I'd definitely make the swap. Other than that you're good to go! Your bike makes my old knockabout Peugeot look hopelessly tatty!

yes a garage/workshop/maintenance stand would be ideal

on a State Pension ..... kitchen table will do nicely and gets the job done regardless

progressing well

all the bearings lubed, rims trued, new tubes
waiting for chain [1st NOS was too wide], new blue cables, [1st green were yuk], and saddle ordered.

decided to keep the levers after all - since added black gel tape
thanks to biggs for the retro blocks.!
