:D 8) and to think you were gonna sell it

Alas that original bike was stolen in around 91-92. The SM that I have now is a replica that I bought last year. I do have a warm feeling towards it today I must admit.

Si

Love the story Dr S. My black "O" is a replica too but ahhhh.....the memories :D ... remember a couple of months after I got the frame and forks it was still missing a few parts to complete the build. Dad went away on buisness and a 16 Y/O home alone has gotta have a house party. Worried about it getting nicked ( although worryingly not the house getting damaged ) I locked it to the end of my bed. To put it this way, I got lucky and my "O" was the witness.
The house was trashed by the way. Someone sledged down the stairs and went through a Bovis homes wall. I was blissfully unaware until morning :D .... suprised it wasn't confiscated there and then.

Cheers,
boy"O"boy

I'm always 23..........1989 was when I first took up cycling (as opposed to ridin' about as a kid, which is really a kind of mobilised vandalism), and a happy, optimistic time in gerneral. I wonder how many of us identify gettin' their first decent bike with some other milestone in life...........like Boy"O"Boy above :P :P and
