If you could own any car what would it be and why?

Audi RS 6. Damn the environment!
Understated and kind of practical in the way that only a 4 door sedan can be and yet probably more deserving of the "supercar" moniker than a lot of the low slung beasties driven by the illuminati of the world.

The CLK GTR was supposed to be such a bad car. It was impossible to get in, the clutch was soooooo hard you had to have Supermans left leg and apparently the cooling was beyond afful.

You just described the Countach.

850R?

The Rs might be a tad rare, but none are megabucks. T5-Rs a little less rare, and T5s aren't that far off. All very obtainable, I would have thought.

All that exotic metal and the genius of gibbleking throws in a Volvo - brilliant

Note: I've had a secret hankering after an 850 T5-R ever since they raced in the Towing Car - sorry, Touring Car Championships

Not the same engine, though - they didn't use a T5 engine, it was a 2l highly tuned NA engine, I believe.

Order of hotness, engine wise:-

The BTCC one (I very much suspect there aren't any on the road...)
850R
T5-R
T5

i chug along in a wentworth 2 litre turbo volvo....very fast .....when the stupid air flow sensor works(residing at my local repair shop being sorted) :D

a mate had a t5 saloon last year as a run around while his s4 was off the road.

i drove it for a few days and loved it.

i think he paid £500 at auction and ebayed it for around 8 when he'd done with it so yes, very obtainable

right now id have the volvo v50 sportwagon as my car of choice. just really like them and feel it would suit the dad status but still looks good and carries bikes about, couldnt afford one so got a toyota wagon at the moment after getting rid of my bmw coupe earlier in the year when i finally gave in and admitted that the misses , two kids and a dog plus any luggage or bikes was pushing the sensible boundaries,
