Palisades Trail was fitted with Mountain LX, but it had Araya rims.

The cantilever bridge is wrong and I've never seen a Marin frame with double mudguard eyes.

this was my '89 palisades. the shifters/levers were terrible.




iirc the hubs were exage to araya....something or another. 1" tube. but they had the desirable* hooded tange fork dropouts. not the best machine i've road, the frame size sapped my energy, but not the worst bike i've rode. AND, i've not seen a bad one yet considering the year, some of the later marins rust up very quickly.

*I like them.
