surprising that they taste different, is it different hops used? i.e grown in different soil and climate would give different favour even if same breed of hops

Isn't normal Carlsberg 3.5% or similar in the UK?

In Denmark, it's known as Hof and is 4.6%.

They do a whole range of beers here, some better than others.

IIRC, Special brew is actually based on the recipe for a special beer that Carlsberg made for a visit by Winston Churchill after the war.

They also do a barley wine type beer here but it's equally undrinkable.

I saw a couple of police men on bike yesterday going up the hill on my street its probably the least steep hill in the world yet one got off his mountain bike to push it up the hill.

The other though in fairness made up for it by popping wheelies up the hill...good to see the police gainfully employed though.

i bet its more enjoyable for them sometimes

but some of them you see on the bikes clearly did something wrong in their last (office based?) post and must have been demoted
