A mix-up over an unpaid utility bill from my last address (we informed all the utilities when we left in July '07, these jokers want paying over £600 for Dec '07 to April '09)..
Rang 'em immediately, went through the 'who are you' nonsense and then the question have you phoned to settle this bill then?
'No', says I, 'I have phoned to trash this claim'
'I don't think so' says arrogant lad who answers the phone (and probably makes tea as well).
Told him that this has all been explained to the previous bunch of incompetents who thought we owed money when we didn't live there.
He objected to being called incompetent (I hadn't)
Claimed an inference, I made a comment caps and their fitment.
He demanded proof or I'd be taken to court
'No problem', says I
'Goodbye, sir', he sneers and just as he finished the 'r' in sir, I declared him a prolific participant in solitary sexual pleasure.
A photo was subsequently taken of the front page of my current tenancy agreement, a rather caustic letter was composed and printed.. both were posted and should be on someones desk in the morning.
