My IF hasn't been ridden for a decade 
, so it's time for it to go to a new home where it'll be appreciated...
It's an early IF, 1998 IIRC, and it's had about 4 years' use between the time I bought it and summer 2002, when it effectively went into dry storage. It was always my second bike, so it hasn't been thrashed. There's a rub mark on the driveside chainstay from my heel and a couple of chips in the paint on the top tube, both of which I've tried to picture. Otherwise the paint and all the components are in very good used condition, with the kinds of small scuff and rub marks you'd expect from a mountain bike that's been ridden.
- 853 Deluxe frame w/horizontal dropouts (no gear hanger), custom one-off metallic black / orange paint job. 18" frame w/ 23" top tube
- Marzocchi Bomber Z2 XFly fork
- Syncros stem and bar
- USE XCR shockpost
- Shimano Deore XT crank and brake levers
- Selle Italia Flite saddle (some wear but no rips or tears!)
- Hope hubs w/ DT Swiss spokes on Mavic X517 rims, screw-on freewheel. Currently 32x16 gearing
- IRC Notos XC tyres
- 21.5lb without pedals
For all sorts of reasons I'd prefer to sell it complete, but I'll consider splitting if the right offer for the frame comes along. Sorry, unless I can sell either the complete bike OR the frame first, I'm not interested in pulling individual components off.
