I'd love a - 44t Unramped Chain Ring

I'd like to see if using an unramped no pin chain ring would stop my chain coming of on my 1x7. To fit a 4 bolt 104pcd aka deore crankset.

is it 104? not sure now, anyway. Should fit a good old standard shimano 4 bolt.
