Ian May ' Aero Tubed' road bike

i have decided to Sell my rather unusual and rare Ian May Aero tubed bike, 221/2" or 57cm sized frame.

unsure of tubing as no stickers etc etc and the original owner who bought the frame in the mid 80's cant remember , he never built it into a complete bike till about 18 months ago and only used 4 or 5 times so nearly in as new condition .

Very clean red paintwork with reynolds 531 zeus 2000 chromed forks , nice lugwork with cutouts . Campag strada crankset , Veloce fr changer and a shimano 105 rear , shimano down tube mounted levers .

Modern shimano r500 wheels as new with conti ultra sport tyres. modolo speedy brake calipers with modern tektro aero levers , 90 mm black quill type stem and matching bars .

short horizontal rear dropouts with micro adjusters , 26.8 seat post , a fantastic looking bike that is as close to new as you will get

some light marks on rear stays due to storage

something different to own and ride

that's the norm for 90% of the bikes you see out there.95% probably.
Whoever did build it did a good job, and the Ian may font is reason enough to want the bike

Really? You would buy a bike for the font???
