I want some carbon in my life...

Giants (cadex/MCM) are available often, but you won't see many older OCLVs around; OCLVs are under 1300g (2.85lb) without paint - lightest production frame at the time.

Alan Pro carbon comes in at about 1600-1700g.

There's been a lotus on ebay recently...

I was disappointed with my Cadex - going at full beans it was 'stiff, stiff, stiff and there it goes' - it sort of lost its 'grrrr' at the limits. I had a Zaskar and an Avalanche to compare it to at the time and the Zaskar would take all that I could offer (the Avalanche was a bit 'dead' anyway compared to anything else).

Nice to look at and comfy on the XC

I really liked my early cadex, but always fancied a later version that was all carbon rather than the lugged, purely for looks, though the lugged versions do have their charm.regret selling it as it was a nice example. Didn't really u se it as intended though, was a lightweight commuter.

Kestrel and Alan (there was also a British eagle variant I believe) are lovely looking things and I have seen a lovely carbon Trimble if you like that kind of design.

Re:

Or one of these, really regret selling this. Alloy lugs and all carbon tubes.
