Went to see this guy in the Test valley today, having a clearout of a collection of unrestored bikes he has picked up over the years I quote,

"Massive collection of vintage bikes and frames to clear. Most are classic handmade lightweight bikes and frames, most are Reynolds 531. Come and take a look, or message for details. Prices from £0 up to around £100, open to offers. "

I will link to the ad if anyone is interested , they are some gems in there some 1950's and older many 531 frames and bikes for 70s and 80s and he is talking sensible prices.

I picked up this Revell tourer for a very reasonable sum.

Its a bit like looking at whats on in the cinema and each time you look there is a new film with Pedro Pascal in it - and you think to yourself 'I'm glad Pedro Pascal has some work, I hadn't seen him in anything for so long'. :)

Doing a bit more research on the Revell, it is a Romany which was sold via Freewheel/Madison with the frames made by Mercian and/or M Steel, so a nice piece of kit. I am looking forward to cleaning it up and riding it. I will see if I can find any frame numbers anywhere.
