I picked this up today

The frame weighs in at 1.3kgs minus forks, I was thinking not a bad weight does anyone know these frames? Raleigh M-trax race lite built with optima tubing which I believe is 501 or am I wrong?

here we are talking titanium weight or very very thin steel ( dunno of a steel frame at this weight actually ) :shock:
Mines in very light steel have never come below the 1650 g mark for the frame only ( and I am talking Columbus EL, Excell tubing , Super Vitus 971/980)

I'm away from home at the moment, I will try different scales when I get back, it is very very light though and paper thin it feels like you could easily dent it if you were a bit rough with it, anyway I will let you know when I get back

Weighed it again on some decent scales and it comes in at 1.83 kgs with out forks and 2.2 with, all I need now is a group set to build it with

Was bored today so I decided to build this up, RX100 group set, I am just waiting for a new saddle to arrive and I need a chain which I will pick up Tuesday, I think this will be my new ride, I am not keen on the colour but wanted to keep the frame original, I have weighed it and it comes in at 10.4kg which I think is a bit heavy as my 81 PKN10 is a bit lighter, but that has been upgraded a bit
