how cheap is cheap 
so far im looking at a bravo for £150 and a mk2 polo 1.6 for £700 the polo is in really good nick but the insurance is £720 fully comp :shock: :shock:

il check the insurance on the bravo against the corsa but i not sure if a 1ltr engine will be ok for longer distance work :shock: but defo intrested in it mate

Remember that trip to Thetford in the Matiz Dan? we ran that to Wales as well and it was a 0.8. 1l should be fine mate.

Is it really worth insuring a £700 car fully comp? I know sometimes the different between FC and TPF&T ain't that much, and sometimes favourable, but check out the different options.
at the end of the month i will be selling either my skoda pick up (1.3, lowered,tested to march, wont have any tax though(unless you pay for it!) has had a rear ender so tailgate is bent but still operates fine. its ratty and tatty but i love it. will be looking for £400 for it.
or i'll be selling a 1.4 polo, mid 90's so the curvy shape (think its on an n or p plate) its red and currently stinks of dogs. horrendous letterbox exhaust. that will be taxed for a few months and tested for about 10. it is my sisters car. if i sell the truck i am going to buy it, if i decide to keep the truck it'll be going. she's told me she wants £500 for it.
as for the corsa, i drove it miles home the other day and it sits at 60/70 quite happily. will no doubt struggle on hills though
