Dirt Disciple
Hi im from Cyprus and yesterday i bought this 24" "The Kris" all steel bicycle and what i know so far from research is that the frame is made in Taiwan or Malaysia most likely..i may be wrong. The saddle is made in Taiwan. The seller told me that its probably from 1977, and everything on this bike is old stock as it first came out from the factory. Notice the head badge how similar it is to the Raleigh. I want to know more about it such as the exact year of manufacture, etc. If anybody knows something or happens to own such brand please share your knowledge to shed some light on this bike! Thanks a lot.

Probably right about Taiwan. I suspect this was a copy of a Raleigh, some choppers with the same name turned up in the US. Not much quality.

oh dear...i've exchange this with an old rusty condition "New Hudson" ladies bicycle from 1940. Did i make any good???:'(

New Hudson were a lesser BSA make, here in the UK not much value. The youths bike may be better, I can't see anyone getting any history, and appears to be useable. Best of luck with it.

i see... My other options were a raleigh europa(73), and a motobecane (76). i feel so bad..

The head badge is shameful and a mockery to Raleigh Shame on this so called 'Bicycle Factory'
I'd burn the bike! But thats just me

funny enough this bike is sturdy and the quality is not bad at all. Its pretty rare find actually...

Now't against you mate

But i'm actually glad the bike is rare! A bike like this because it is rare doesn't add a big price tag if you know what i'm saying.

Yes i know what you mean!:) Is that a disadvantage? Also, i may have the chance to let it go for another bike and i want your opinion! Should i exchange it with something better?

Have you seen the other bike by chance ?

You only need to check the other bike to see if the spec' is better than the 'thing'
there are many little road bikes out there that sell for less than twenty quid.
