Retro Newbie
I saw the following bike on my local marketplace, it looks pretty good, wanted to see what you guys think, is it a good bike, how much is it worth, do you know anything about it...
The listing says the following:
Principia R700
Rigida DP 18 wheelset
Full Shimano 600 tricolor groupset
and thats it.

Looks pretty (very) clean.
Aluminium alloy frame, rims, brakes, cranks, chainrings, derailleurs, stem, handlebar, seatpost, titanium rail saddle.
All brand name stuff.

I see the asking price is 250 Euro.
I think that's what it's worth.🙂

Even includes some nice matching bottle cages.
What more do you want?

ty for the opinion, one more thing, the size is 57x56, the bike I'm riding currently is a 56x56 but with a shorter stem and regular bars. How much of a difference do you think this let's say 120mm stem (not sure what exact length it is) + drop bars is going to make. My current bike feels a bit too short as in the top tube, I'm pretty upright, so I hope this bike won't be too big for me. I'm 181cm btw.

Those road handlebars on the principia look like they have a very deep drop and long reach.
It will definitely feel different to what you are used to.

You can always change the bars and stem for something else?

I love how the stem looks on the bike, I could get some compact bars, are those quill stems 25.4 or 26mm?
