i need a new motorbike helmet, help me choose!!

so when riding to and from bristol for the bespoked show i got pissed off with my helmet! i had gone back to my first helmet because my newer helmet had died, the visor mechanism had broken, then i remembered why i got the second helmet, the same had happened on the first one so every now and again when riding the wind caught it wrong anf the visor came off on one side!! :x :x forcing me to stop sort it and ride till it did it again!! :roll:

so i have been on the hunt for a new helmet tonight, i belive in buying a good helmet for the motorbike and being me i like custom stuff so i have been in touch with a guy called Paul Dalloway who does custom paintwork, he will do anything you want but also has some 'standard custom' designs, meaning you choose a design and he paints that design on the helmet of your choice!

i love these smiling ones, i like the green and the blue smiling ones, what do you guys think?

i love the silly stuff though, and i was thinking bright colour also because of being high viz.

standard design on his cheapest helmet is £300 bearing in mind the cheapest helmet is £200.

custom design from £400 i think.

luckily i like the cheaper helmet and the base smile design, it's more a colour choice thing, i'll probably be ordering tomorrow.

Be careful with getting a Simpson Bandit. I seem to recall that they do not have the correct BS coding and that the Police love pulling you and issuing a ticket to help fund the Christmas ball...........
