I just picked up a 1989 GT Avalanche!

I took a little 3 hour (each way) road trip yesterday to pick up this very nice 1989 GT Avalanche. It rides like a dream and the Deore components work so smooth! I added the clips and straps, I might upgrade the saddle and seatpost, other than that I love it the way it is! Very happy to add this one to my fleet, got it for a great price too!

Awesome find! Lovely early GT Avalanche. Remember looking at GT adverts in the magazines many moons ago with this bike featuring in them. I eventually got a 1991 GT Avalanche in Daktari White. Looks to be in lovely condition too... Enjoy!

88 would be amazing to own! I only really see pre 90s GT's State-side. Not sure when they started bringing GT mtb's to the UK.
