I hate the school run - bloody mums in cars!!!! Grrrrrrrr

I hate schools for that very reason, my kids schools are a nightmare and my biggest hate is when parents live just around the corner and still use the car to drive to the school gate. but love it when they get wound up when the police come and book them for parking on zigzags outside.

Also if it was near the school you should call in and ask them can you view the camera footage for that time if they havem pointing in said direction, Tell them what happened and whny you want footage sure they will accomadate as they would have had plenty to say if she had actually backed into a student from the school and wont want that happening in case.

Yeah my patience was completely restrained by the presence of my little girl. I actually thank the fact that she was present, and indirectly prevented me from being a total neanderthal.... She had no need to witness daddy being a tw*t

Being a school-run time of day, there was people everywhere and I remember hearing in my head a few passers-by saying "oh my god, did you just see that woman reverse into that bike...." :roll: :x

Next time you see her ... get her reg no., preferably name and address (but you can get that from the no. plate nd DVLA anyway) get cctv if possible and get her done by the police!!

And then please stop swearing about women 4x4 drivers, we're not all bad you know!! I've got a customer who lives opposite a school, and I get there at school time every other Thursday, I've got a Mitsy L200 and I'm the most polite driver there!! I try to keep out of everybody's way (which is quite difficult with a turning circle like a super tanker!!) I keep an eye out for everyone else ... but why do people insist on walking behind me when I'm reversing (really carefully!!) .... and then swear like hell at me?!?! Sighs deeply!!

I think that something switches in an adult's head when they become a parent ... "I am the most important person in the world as I have a child!" Regardless of the real world, they carry on, putting themselves in danger ("I am invincible!!"), and therefore possibly removing the chance of their child growing up with TWO parents!!

I have the greatest respect for cyclists of all persuasions, road or mountain, and I try to give them the maximum amount of space that I can, after all I don't want to injure them and anyway I think that they are all bonkers for riding on the road where there are two ton monsters that can easily kill you?!

Don't get me wrong, I don't condone that wretched woman's behaviour at all, she was horrid and inconsiderate!! But please don't tar all us female 4x4 drivers with the same brush, I have my pickup truck for my job and I am really careful when I'm driving!!

Ok, rant over for now I think, just take this on board guys, some women CAN actually drive, some are good drivers nd not all 4x4 drivers are arrogant bastards!!!!
