Al, looks like we will all be watching no telly soon.

Coz if it was, I hear they do that a lot, just like digital decoder boxes that cease to function after a year.
Could it be the standard quality electronics just isn't up to the power of digital?, perhaps fine for analogue signals or there never was any real problems before we were forced to go digital.

Friend had an 3series (E42), that ripped its own subrafe our from its mountings in the bootfloor. His local BMW dealer tried to charge him £3500 to have it welded back up (bodged), until we did a bit of research and found it was a common fault, and BMW were agreeing to a FOC rebuild with later, modified panels. We even found another guy who had his car in the same dealer/bodyshop, having the same repair, whilst we werestood there and were quoted that £3500 repair... so they knew it was a problem, but just tried to do the fleece anyway
The moral is, RESEARCH, AND PESTER
