It's confirmed -- I've been bitten by the Retro bug as I've bought yet another frame for my collection. This time it's a Boulder Bicycles Defiant. My Intrepid was lonely, so it needed a brother.

I connected with the owner on mtbr.com a few months back when we exchanged messages about our Boulders, so I knew the backstory -- he purchased the frame from the same seller as my Intrepid. The frame, like my Intrepid, looks NOS or maybe built up for display at a bike show, but definitely never ridden. Other than the small paint chip missing on the headtube, the paint is perfect. I'll be splitting the Zaskar and moving the XTR parts onto this one. As soon as I'm done with the Intrepid and Funk I'll get around to building it up.

Although you haven't kept them all, your bike numbers are creeping up to mine!

I know, I know! I now have a self-imposed, one in, one out policy. Hopefully that'll keep my numbers in check.

Thanks for the comments, gents. :)
