Joker, Gemmy and Guido (the Purple Trinity) are part of the new breed, so still pretty fresh - Joker lives at the top of my road.

Thom Yorke is pretty influenced by all things electronic - he's been a massive Warp fan for as along as, so it's no surprise Radiohead as a whole have taken loads of influences on board, stuff like DJ Shadow and Massive Attack in particular. oh thats true! but as i said, real dub heads are few and far between. its all this 'filthy bassline' stuff which all sound similar (just heavy synth and no variation)
the purple trinity? is that the collective that is? (those 3)
obviously pinch and ginz are good too
while i love dubstep, im finidng myself less attracted to it now as there is so much crap to cipher through and look around :evil:

i just realised your in good old bristol. joker is one of my favourites with his truly purple sound (my favourite colour). i was devastated when he wiped his hard drive :roll:
AND he is also sponsored by King clothing which is also my favourite (its all i wear) so if you could do me a big favour and knock on jokers door and ask him if he wants to get rid of his purple deluxe cap an crew sweater?
i like what the legendary scientist did (launches into outerspace)
and i follow DZ religiously (shhh hes MY hidden secret, although his sound is *starting* to change a little, just a wee bit)
and the likes of rusko and plastic*man* can shove it as far as im concerned, bloody sheep :evil:
