I-beam Race Face cranks - what bb axle length?

Yup, mine are on 122mm too.

Depending on your frame you could get away with less though. Skinny steel tubed retro hardtails have less mud room and more heel clearance.

Enjoy!!

These golden beauties are on a 68x113, don't think it would be possible to go any shorter as it'll struggle to shift into granny (think I tried 110 & no dice). I think I could do with slightly shorter granny spacers though, as I'm using it with 9sp and the narrow chain can occasionally sit inbetween middle & granny on downshifts :?

Do you know which model these are?

From the info above & the four or five other threads that are just like this one, that would seem right!

Thanks Taffy

Quick addition - the seattube is ally & 31.8, so with a skinnier (steel) tube you might get away with a slightly shorter axle (if it's a dedicated front mech, not shimmed, obviously!).

I ran my Turbines (like ElPeds) on a 110 for years, but it was a Taperlock with adjustable chainline.
When running that crank with a 9 speed chain I think it was 7.1mm granny spacers which worked best and prevented the chain dropping into the gap. Available from ID.

New granny's coming Friday, so once I've pulled apart I'll get the calipers on them, thanks very much!
