If I look that good when I hit 50 I would be fine with it, and I used to be a model.

The only thing I miss about that is, being 3" tall, I could sneak out the letterbox at night to play with the garden gnomes.

Maybe I missed the humor in one of the links, but there was a 'then and now' photo that suggested she may be a fan of plastic surgery.

I have no problem with people aging, merely that they do it gracefully and not Pete Burnsily

You are hardly going to get a fair representation of someone ageing gracefully when two images are from vastly disparate times.

May as well show Shirley Temple as a toddler, then on her death bed.

Regardless of whether plastic surgery is involved.

By the way, Temple is still very much alive as I write, as is Tori Amos.

Perhaps a critique of her music over the years would be more appropriate to her oeuvre.

Val Kilmer never had an ounce of Morrison's charisma, never mind looks!

Amos is a well documented victim of abuse, something that can lead to self hate and terribly degraded self esteem.

Is it any wonder she has resorted to distorting her image?

Me and Tori go way back even before she got her first solo record deal. That picture has been Photoshoped, badly.

First met her in 1993, she was at a mutual friends party. He worked for the record label she had just signed to. We got on really well and flirted 'til the small hours. Nothing became of it but certainly had some chemistry going on.

Went to her gig at the Hammersmith Apollo in Dec 2001. Gate crashed the meet-and-greet before the show where she recognised me. Chatted about old days and she said that she thought I was with Paul (our mutual friend). Turns out everybody knew Paul was gay appart from me. Oh well, what a story that could have been.
