hydraulic disc problem advise help

Old School Grand Master
I have an issue on my Non reto Kona where the disc Caliper is leaking fluid into the caliper. They are Magura louise.

:?: Can I use another caliper such as Hope or Shimano for example so I can retain matching levers ??

Sorry but I am kinda useless when it comes to hydraulic and modern things

Any advise and help will be greatly appreciated as usual 8)

Cheers

I'd guess the fittings for the Maguras are different to other brands so probably will not work changing just the caliper for another brand. Do they do service kits for these brakes with seals and stuff?

Thanks RB, Too messy and tricky for me unfortunatley  , Magura do a service kit but does not state seals etc, and at 20 sheets I would rather put towards a fresh caliper if possible.

Cheers

Probably better off getting them serviced at a shop, if like me, things tend to get broken when i try myself
Besides, a service is a inexpensive way of getting them working again  when factored against new calipers.

I've run a couple of types of Magura disc brakes over the last few years - and whilst 95% of the time they are fine i have had a few problems.

Contact these guys at the service center - they have always sorted mine FOC.
