Camelbak Rogue ...I'm murder for forgetting to clean out bottles.

Keep the bladder in the fridge between uses. All you will need to do is rinse it out between rides.

I keep mine in the freezer, kills all bugs.

Freezing doesn't kill bugs, just inactivates them. Still does the job though just like freezing anything else.

Bit narrow chested me so when out cycling i get out of puff somewhat and thus dont have the power to sook hydration from a bladder. With a bottle i can squish the contents oot with my paws and thus get a decent drink. Bottle are mounted in bottle cages where they're near at hand and not on my back where they may cause pain upon landing on my back from yet another unplanned dismount

Admittedly I usually attach the bottle with a bit of elastic as walking back up the trail to pick up my bottles that have bounced loose can be a bit tedious

I use bottles in cages, the weight is on the bike no matter where it is so I prefer to keep it low to help lower the centre of gravity.

Camelback for me. Good size one 'cos I like to drink a lot when riding. Keep all the tools etc in there too so no clutter on my frames. 8)

Had a Hydropack but it burst on the way to a ride. :(

That's cos you sat on it

Camelbak for me too.

Bottle most of the time, but if I'm going out for a long ride then a Deuter bladder in a lightweight sack.

Earlier this year I poisoned myself or something for about a week. Hadn't bothered to wash out the bladder from the last useage of about 3 months previous and I was as sick as a dog

I have a Burton snowboarding pack I've been using for years. It has a compartment for a bladder. lots of room for tubes, Cool Tool, poo tickets, Cliff Bars, phone, and a long sleeve T shirt (<--substitute with beers for the lift @ Bromont). It serves triple duty for camera gear on the off road bike and lunch+clothes when I commute on the street bike.
