How to store your bikes?

Forgive me if this topic has been discussed before, but I guess I am not the only one with this problem. I have a nice size shed, so I can't actually complain, but with my increasing collection, it becomes more and more difficult to store my bikes nicely without damaging them and be able to take them went I want to go for a spin.
I have seen these hooks to hang them, which should save space and not touching eachother and easily to pick up. What solution have you come up with?

This is my shed now.....

know what you mean and i dot even have the luxury of a shed :(

although i could lean forward off the sofa and touch the one living in the doorway  or the one propping up the other sofa

you could hang them vertically on that backwall . or maybe you have enough headroom to get them off the floor and hang them from a beam

Store

Got one in the shed, one in my bedroom, three in the dining room, one in my sons bedroom, three in the loft and two at the mother in laws.Might have to build myself a garage.

I generally have 1 in the hall, 1 in the living room, 1 or 2 in the back of the van and 5 or 6 in the loft. All on a rotation basis depending on what I currently fancy riding or what is fully built up.
I'd love a shed like the one you've got, but the one I'm planning on building over summer will be much more modest due to limited outside space and will fit two complete bikes at most.

I have a brilliant book, published in 1928 called "The Amateur Handyman and Home Mechanic". Amazing. Has plans for a bike shed, and shows you all kinds of repairs. It even shows you how to make a hub and replace bent tubes on bikes.

The bike im currently riding lives in the hall, all other bits/frames/wheels etc lives in a spare room that im using to store all my tools and machinery.
When the workshop is fully built i'll construct a bike stand that slots into my main workbench

3 cheap bikes hanging from a beam in the shed, white kona in the spare room, inbred in the airing cupboard (she hasnt found it yet  ) and the rts, no idea. its in the back garden at the minute!

jerky has got a pretty cool solution if i recall. 2 bikes mounted on a pole dancing pole or something
