How to get information about a bike?

Hey as some of you may know I own an old Kalkhoff, after asking on here it was identified as a 'Coupe du monde' I found bugger all elsewhere on the web other than a few that have been converted to fixies.
I emailed Kalkhoff in an attempt to find out more information but unfortunatly they wern't able to help me.
Is there any other option for trying to find out more?

They were made in the mid 70s to early 80s just a pretty average german touring bike, made from the equivilant of reynolds 501 tubing (on a tourer weight makes little difference)

Just a good solid german bike...so yeah that's about it. Clean it up and go ride it!
