How to find frame with correct geometry for old Manitou SXR?

so any 80mm travel corrected frame will do
Is it true that most 80mm travel forks will have the same distance from wheel to crown then? And it'll be the same as my old SX-Rs? That would certainly make the search easier.
Yes that is roughly the case, but 44cm suggests a 70mm fork. My 98 SX-R (mango) measures 43.5. Most mid 90s frames were designed with a 63mm fork in mind (classically the Judy XC), and they didn't tend to be much changed when travel crept up to 80mm (typical length 45.0 - 45.5)

What size was your Marin? I am currently selling my old Indian Fire Trail frame. It's a 19" with 1 1/8" headtube.

The sxr model is near the year 2000, so you should choose a frame from 1999 to 2002. But the most important is how tall is the fork, because I have a duke of 2002 that is similar than the Judy 1995, 2 or 3 cm more tall the duke, so you can fit some forks of the 2000 in old frames form 1995 for example
