just bought a claude butler which is equipped with shimano mountain lx? the brake and shifter levers are combined but with thumbies! never seen this before and was wondering what sort of vintage it was?

exactly like that but canti's front and rear. picked the whole bike up for 36 dubloons so is looking like a good buy!
