How old?

I share an office with a bike charity and they get loads of old rubbish donated for a bike recycling project. The other day, however, someone donated a reasonable looking Specialized Stumpjumper (not very good pic below), can anyone help me identify what model year it might be? I'm tempted to make them an offer for it to add to my collection...[/img] There's also a similar vintage Hardrock hidden behind it...

I think its late 80's, very similar to an 89 Hardrock I used to have
