How obsessive are you....about cleaning your bike?

The bikes i ride off road get cleaned and checked after every ride, the last thing I want of for something to fail whilst I'm miles away from home and mud can hide a thousand sins.. also, seriously who wants a drive train that grinds! I also can't stand black gunky oil on chains.

The bikes I ride on the road get a clean when I can be bothered!

As I service and repair a gazzillion bikes a week, I HATE working on a dirty piece of shite so I clean the bikes for the owners with mine as clean as poss.

I ride 1-4hrs everyday. hose the worst of the muck off & quick relube. every few days a propper clean.

All this talk about cleaning makes me feel like i'm at work :roll:

I'm a cleaning contractor for my sins! Thats why i let others clean my bike.
Anyway what else would they do in the bike shop?
Eat biscuits and drink coffee probably! lets face it,it's not like a proper job is it?

depends on the shop. if you're a small team taking 20£K on a saturday then yeh it feels like you;re working...

Blast,wipe and lube, plus a yearly strip down and clean, degrease, relube.

A problem shared is a problem halfed! I don't know how i do it for the money! NEXT.
