Hope its not too much of a personal question, But how much have you spent on your retro builds??

I only started by wanting to put together a hack bike to go out with my mates who started biking and found this site, I stopped biking about 10-12 years ago and through this site am now building a Orange o2 which has now cost me £375 and isnt even built yet!! HELP ME!!!

I think the general rule is, the longer you've been here, the longer it is since you stopped keeping count!

I agree with that in relation to my moderns, and my other hobbies, spending gets out of control and you care less, till it doesnt matter really! :)

My first actual retro build could be interesting, If I get the frame, I'm hoping for first recent retro build to be less than £200, and my modern full sus, is working out very cheap for what it is, but theres easily gonna be £800 plus with calculations creeping up on me which I'm not acknowledging at the mo, another bike may lend its parts for now...

Depends on what you want to achieve mate.

My RTS is over that and the LTS is under.

Gulp, using some bits I already have, I will spend just over £1k on the Funk build (not including another ground anchor in the garage plus locks!).

I take it component by component. If I get a good deal on a seatpost, I'm happy. :D

I've stopped adding it all up, thats just asking for trouble!

Are you mad!

My mrs may read this,so keep it to yourself.

Oh go on then, about 25 ,30quid or something.

Cheers, not Al.
