The clamp is quite normal, the is a band version for frames like this.
This type with a "endless strap"
That one is hard to find, especially the M900, I have seen a few and went for about 50 euro.

no the clamp is not normal. one half of the clamp is custom made to fit the larger manitou seat tube. pretty obvious on hte pics that it is not the same material as the other half of the clamp. here's another pic where you may see it a bit better

the endless clamp is just another form of clamp and it may work on the manitou frame but i am not sure, never tried it. fact is that the front der on ebay is the "correct" one for a manitou frame and that it is not the standard m901 34.9mm front der.

My Manitou FS frame has a specific clamp for M900 mech. It´s an half clamp made of CNC. My Manitou HT has a endless clamp mech (a m900 like that deore), and it also works ok. The correct measure is 35,2mm, and not 34,9mm, as usual clamps.

Seat clamp has the same problem, so it has to be a Manitou specific. Best thing is to buy them with the frame... But as Carsten says, only if you have one of the only 3 uncraked frames out there (because i have the other 2    )

There is a threa running on MTBR forums which has some relevance here, I quote DeeEight:

They did make the endless band clamps in all three sizes. They were also the derailleur model of choice on composite frames with larger than 34.9 outside diameter seattubes because all you needed to make them fit is having a new band size made and they were damn cheap to make. Much less costly to deal with that having to custom-make derailleurs like the XTR front derailleurs which were specific to Manitou frames. Manitou wouldn't spec anything less than XTR and Shimano never made an endless-clamp version of the XTR front derailleur so they ended up having to do custom front derailleurs by starting with the 1 3/8" / 34.9 clamp model, taking off the stock swinging piece of the clamp, bending the forged body part outwards slightly, and then making a new CNC'ed swinging clamp of the correct radius to fit the 1.5" diameter seattube.
