How long is too long?

I've recently sold a car on the bay. It went to a best offer on buy it now.
It sold 2 days ago, i've sent 2 messages to the buyer with no reply and no payment has been recieved.
So how long should I wait until I take further action?
Obviously not for a few more days but i've a bad feeling about this one :roll:

Ebay is full of messers! Dispute now opened.

In my book 2 days is quite long not to at least be in contact, but according to ebay you'll have to wait quite a bit longer yet

Wait a week , some people don't spend all their waking time in front of a computer .

Iirc there used to be some guide line in the ebay rules that said contact should be made within 3 days..

I think your right to have a bad feeling. start a dispute. It may make him get a move on.

i sold something nearly 2 weeks ago, i have had a few messages about problem paying and they are working on it, im quite laid back, so i can wait

But, they HAVE been in touch. If you're buying a car and can't be arsed to at least contact the seller... :?
