How long before you re build after a professional respray ?

Just curious how long people hold off re building after having a frame re enameled . I'm trying to wait a month......

It's meant to be 24h, but i have been told that if you are wet sanding enamel you need to wait for about a fortnight.

Incidentally, is the company clear coating the enamel ?, I believe thats something that needs done.

Yup , it's been lacquered , decals underneath .
I know they're basically dry after a short time , but they take longer to completely cure , just wondering how long .

Its good to get a decent wax or paint sealent on there before building then top it up after each was with sonax brilliant shine detialer it makes washing off the frame really easy the hose removes most of it.

Waxing it was what made me think about it . I thought if I wax it now I'll slow the curing by sealing it . I have some Crankalicious wax , but nothing to compare it to .

Ah yes thats always a problem with a rebuild

24-72hrs at least after it’s straight out of the respray booth For waxing I’d wait at lest a couple of weeks as I believe with a car you should wax this after 2 months of new paint.....But the best people to,answer are the painters themselves.

I don't know if I can wait 2 months ! It's nearly 3 weeks now , I reckon I can get to a month alright .
