How do you recognize a Yeti-built Barracuda?

Yes, there are some Barracuda bikes and frames on Ebay, and the ninety per cent of the owners claim they're Yeti built. I know a really limited number of frames was actually welded in DUrango. Is there a way to recognize cheap alu frames from high end ones?

I had an A²X. Tange Prestige, full m900. Beautiful little bike. Don't remember if it had a Made in ______ sticker on it or not. Wasn't really concerned at the time (96). It was old stock. I wailed on it for a season of DS and flogged it at the end of the year.

i had a barrier reef around then
nice light alloy frame ,lx and grip shift iirc
deffo an asian one tho ,Apro or similar

I think only the really early ones, regardless of frame material but not 100%. Pretty sure the correct answer can be found on that site mentioned above
