How do I edit a post?

I have posted a single thread with multiple components for sale. Quite a few of them are now sold and I would like to mark them as such. I can see how to edit the title of the whole thread, but not the individual items. I've had to revert to posting "replies" identifying the sold items, but that doesn't feel the right way to do it. Any advice please?

Yes! Thankyou. All sorted now. I'd only noticed the "edit" option at the top of the page, which logically enough only edits the title.
