How come you don't see early bombers on here?

I started out on a set of RST Mozo Pro's but once I got my Chameleon I realized how much they flexed, wobbled and tried to kill me on various occasions. I always wanted Pace forks, but ended up buying Z1 BAMs early in 98 and never looked back. Perhaps as they were more of a jump fork than the Pace options.
I still run the original set and they still feel plush and smooth with only having 1 seal change and 2 oil changes in that time, and I don't ride lightly!
If (touching wood) anything happened to them I'd just source another pair in a flash.

Recently riding the FODCA trail I passed a lad who shouted "Nice bombers! They're the oldest I've seen!" Made myself and the other half chuckle as he could've only been a few years older than them!

Mine are also Z2 Atom 80's and still giving sterling service 8 years on. Recently bought some identical ones in great nick for 37 quid on the bay, can't see you need anything more from a fork

Wow! That's some colour match Rich, you won't get much closer than that.

Oh sorry, yes they work very well, don't they, very efficient, trouble-free etc, yes indeed, stiff as well.

Thanks Anthony, not a bad match are they? in fact a sight better than the touch up paint for the frame.
Just got to get discs now to really join the modern world, can't quite make that step yet and not sure how standard the early disc mounts on these Bombers are
Think I have read somewhere about them being slightly different to the IS ones, any ideas?

Only the MY97 and the initial runs of MY98 are the old formula brake standard. From early 98 onwards they are all IS.

Thanks for that bit of info, thought that some were of an older design.

Looks like when/if I finally get modern that it will be an easy fit then
