How about some embarrassing moments? Any stories?

Stopped on a narrow bridleway to allow a pair of horses and their super sexy jodphur clad riders past. Unclipped shoe went to place on floor, sadly what I thought was solid gound was infact a steep slope.

Down I rolled with the nettles acting as a stingy cushion. Soooo itchy everywhere felt like screaming and not a dock leaf in sight (not sure what they look like anyway)

I commuted into work one day. I opened the door while still clipped in all cool on my bike. Road into the showroom and went to unclip, and proceeded to fall into a tier of 5 bikes. It turns out one of my SPD bolts snapped on the ride. When i went to unclip it just twisted. Great! It had to happen in front of half of my staff. The kick in the pants was it happened right in front of the security camara and the owner thought it was the funniest thing ever. He ended up E-mailing it to the whole company, and even showing ii at the begining of his power point presentation at the company annual review meeting.

Coupla weekends ago out with a coupla mates on the North Downs. They were both at a gate between two trails so I sped towards them and thought I'd pull off one of those slow down whilst endo-ing stops [like they do on GP bikes].. Grabbed a handful of front V and went straight over the bars; slammed into the ground in front of both of them.. Showing Off never works out

Most memorable Commuting moment happened a few years ago in London on my way to Clerkenwell.. Rocked up to the lights at The Strand/Waterloo Bridge/Aldwich junction at about 8am.. Pulled a perfect Track Stand at the Red.. Perfect Balance, Poise.. It was Perfect..

Then..

Lights change..

I stamp on the pedal, one crank revolution..

Chain snaps, straight over the bars, clipped in.. Ended up in a pile in front of about 20 suits and two lanes of Taxis trying to get past me

first ever ride with toe clips around 83 (yeh you can see where this is going already... )
stopped at traffic lights, large group of fellow school kids walking home, desperately try to pull a foot out, floor sideways much to the mirth of the school kids...

I must be kinda lucky as thats all I can think of bike related
