Not too sure about the model no. of this or it's correct name  but I'm happy with my Maguras so it's surplus to requirements and for sale....

Hope rear disk brake, fully working and recently bleed, with disk and holding ring. This type of brake mounts on to the frame with out having the usual disk mounts. So it's perfect for the man about town who fancies some disk action on a non-disk frame.

Not knowing much about this means it's difficult to price so I'm asking for £43 (was £55) posted, I AM open to offers on them if you know what a fair price is?
SOLD

I'm off on holiday soon so payment by bank tranny would be great (but obviously I'll post them before I go!)

Any idea how this is mounted, as I could be interested if it doesn't need the associated hub modication (specific axle).

Cheers

Ian

It needs the modified hub, Ian.

They use a very long skewer that is essentially a nut and bolt which goes all the way through the hole in the mount. The mount sits on the inside of the dropout, and therefore the whole hub axle needs to be that much shorter.

Hence why I made my own version.

A standard hub with modified flange and axle would work, but the skewer would have to be fabricated too.

Cheers all, I thouht as much. I'll bail on this one as I am awaiting an IS mount that is being fabricated for the frame I had in mind.

Not meaning to damage your potential but someone did sell this kit a few weeks back including the axle for around your asking price (I was second in line sadly).

Ian

Thanks Ian, that's useful as I really wasn't sure what to put them up as even after a search!
I'll modify it.

No worries. I'd genuinely be interested but haven't really got the time to search for the correct hub/axle nor fabricate my own. Good luck with the sale. I think someone is also selling a front that would match this perfectly.

Ian

A normal length skewer can be used.
The only mods necessary to the hub are to remove disc side flange, cut axle to length (-10mm IIRC) and fit flange from xc front hub (I think!).
Hope hubs only- Bulb, XC and Ti-glide will work, so might others.
