Really nice disc/rim brake wheels get for sale, with cassette included!
I realise that these are officially far newer than 1997, but the ability to run v's or canti's must warrant them some appeal in this section. They are very understated wheels and allow you to run v's with the option of upgrading to discs without a change of wheels! Excellent hand built wheels in excellent condition. Black hubs with black rims/spokes and machined sidewalls. They have been used for v brakes, so the sidewalks are not mint, but they are not worn at all really as they were only used for a couple of months.
Not sure what to ask but let's start at £150 posted or swap for some nice retro wheels.
